बीती रात फूटबाल वर्ल्ड कप के एक बेहद अहम् क्वाटर फाइनल मैच में अफ़्रीकी देश मोरक्को की टीम ने यूरोपीय देश पुर्तगाल की बेहद ताक़तवर टीम को 1-0 से हरा कर अपना नाम इतिहास के पन्नों में दर्ज कर लिया, मोरक्को की ये टीम अफ्रीका की पहली टीम है जोकि फूटबाल विश्व कप के सेमीफइनल में पहुंची है, सेमीफइनल मुकाबले में मोरक्को का सामना अब वर्ल्ड की सबसे प्रसिद्ध और महान खिलाडी लीओन मैसी की अर्जेंटीना की टीम से होगा

पुर्तगाल अब से पहले दो बार विश्व कैंपियन रहा चुका है और उसके पास रोनाल्डो जैसा दुनियां का दिग्गज स्ट्राइकर मौजूद था लेकिन मोरक्को ने पुर्तगाल को हरा दिया, जिसके बाद एक तरफ जहाँ अफ़्रीकी देशों और अरब के देशों में जश्न का माहौल देखने को मिला वहीँ यूरोप के देशों में मातम छा गया, फ्रांस के अनेक शहरों में गोरों ने वहां रह रहे मुसलमानों पर हमले बोल दिए, कई शहरों में दंगे भड़क गए हैं, जगह-जगह आग लगी हुई है, फ्रांस की जनता सड़कों पर उतारकर दंगे कर रही है, पुलिस पर हमले जारी हैं

मोरक्को एक मुस्लिम देश है, यूरोप के गोरी नस्ल के नस्लपरस्तों से काले अफ़्रीकी और वो भी मुस्लमान देश के हाथों मिली करारी हार हज़म नहीं हो रही है, यूरोप के देश पहले ही क़तर में हो रहे आयोजन को लेकर हमले करते रहे हैं

यूरोप का मीडिया मोरक्को की जीत को लेकर अफवाह फैलने का काम कर रहा है, एक भी एंकर, चैनल ये कहने को तैयार नहीं है कि मुस्लिम देश की टीम जीती है, जबकि अगर कोई यूरोप की टीम जीतती है तो कहते हैं कि यूरोप आगे आ गया है

Portugal’s exit last night is down to Fernando Santos. The Ramos experiment worked against Swiss. Morocco prepared. Omitting Ronaldo was wrong. His presence alone would have been impactful. Instead, subbed on with his team in desperation mode.

Wasn’t supposed to end like that.
