कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी दो दिन के मणिपुर दौरे पर हैं. 30 जून को उनके दौरे का दूसरा दिन रहा.
मणिपुर के मोइरांग में राहुल गांधी राहत शिविरों में गए और वहां रह रहे पीड़ितों का हालचाल जाना.
अपने दो दिन के दौरे में राहुल कई पार्टी के नेताओं और सामाजिक संगठनों से भी मुलाक़ात कर रहे हैं.
राहुल गांधी के दौरे पर बीजेपी हमलावर है, पार्टी का कहना है कि राहुल राजनीति कर रहे हैं. वहीं कांग्रेस का कहना है कि बीजेपी को लोकतंत्र में भरोसा नहीं है.
कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी ने मणिपुर में राहत शिविरों का दौरा किया और इसके बाद राज्यपाल से भी मुलाकात की। बैठक के बाद उन्होंने कहा कि मणिपुर को शांति की जरूरत है। मैं राहत शिविर में गया और हर समुदाय के लोगों से मिला। राहत शिविरों में दवाई, खाने की कमी है जिस पर सरकार को ध्यान देना चाहिए। मेरी मणिपुर के हर व्यक्ति से अपील है कि शांति बनाए रखें। मैं यहां मौजूद हूं और जो शांति कि लिए कर सकता हूं वह करूंगा।
मणिपुर में मैतई समुदाय जनजातीय आरक्षण देने की मांग कर रहा है। इसके खिलाफ बीती तीन मई को हिंसा भड़की थी और अब तक इस हिंसा में 100 से ज्यादा लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है और सैंकड़ों लोग घायल हुए हैं। हजारों लोगों को हिंसा की वजह से विस्थापन झेलना पड़ा है और राज्य की कानून व्यवस्था बेपटरी हो गई है। केंद्र सरकार ने मणिपुर में जारी हिंसा पर बीते दिनों सर्वदलीय बैठक भी बुलाई थी और राजनीतिक पार्टियां भी मणिपुर हिंसा को लेकर केंद्र सरकार पर निशाना साध रही हैं। केंद्र सरकार की कई कोशिशों के बाद भी राज्य में शांति व्यवस्था बहाल नहीं हो पा रही है। यही वजह है कि मुख्यमंत्री एन बीरेन सिंह के इस्तीफे की मांग उठ रही थी और अब जब सीएम राज्यपाल से मुलाकात करने जा रहे हैं तो उनके इस्तीफे की अटकलों को बल मिल गया है।

went to Manipur to listen to the people and understand the pain they are going through during this ongoing conflict. He has consistently appealed for peace and harmony in the state carrying forward his message all through the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
He also met with Manipur’s Governor Anusuiya Uikey to apprise her of the shortage of necessary resources at relief camps.
Meanwhile Prachar Mantri remains mute on this colossal human tragedy.
