K. A. Nizami Centre for Quranic Studies Organises National Seminar
Aligarh, March 11: More than 32 scholars from across the country presented papers on various aspects of promoting the study of the Quran among youth, in a two-day online national seminar organized by K.A. Nizami Centre for Quranic Studies, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
Presiding over the inaugural session, Professor Zafarul Islam, former Chairman, Department of Islamic Studies, AMU spelt out the ways and means for a meaningful study of the Quran by youth in modern times.
Welcoming the seminar delegates, Professor Abdur Raheem Kidwai, Honorary Director, K. A. Nizami Centre for Quranic Studies said the Quran Study Circles should be set up in hostels and localities for familiarizing the youth with the eternal, life-giving guidance of the Quran.
Dr. Mohammad Aiyyoob Akram, Assistant Professor at the Centre conducted the proceedings, while Dr. Mohammad Mubeen Saleem, Assistant Professor at the Centre proposed the vote of thanks.
Renowned scholars including Professor Obaiddullah Fahad, Professor Towqueer Alam Falahi, Maulana Anisur Rahman, Maulana Sirajul Huda, Dr. Baseerat Fatima, Professor Ziauddin Malik, Dr. Arshad Iqbal, Dr. Nadeem Ashraf, Maulana Jarjees Kameemi, Dr. Raihan Akhtar, Dr. Nazeer Ahmad Ab. Majeed, Dr. Lubna Malik, and Dr. Hamid Miyan spoke during the seminar.

अलीगढ़, 11 मार्च: के.ए. निज़ामी सेंटर फॉर कुरानिक स्टडीज, अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी (एमयू) द्वारा आयोजित दो दिवसीय ऑनलाइन राष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी में देश भर के 32 से अधिक विद्वानों ने युवाओं के बीच कुरान के अध्ययन को बढ़ावा देने के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर पत्र प्रस्तुत किए।
उद्घाटन सत्र की अध्यक्षता करते हुए, प्रोफेसर जफरुल इस्लाम, पूर्व अध्यक्ष, इस्लामी अध्ययन विभाग, एएमयू ने आधुनिक समय में युवाओं द्वारा कुरान के सार्थक अध्ययन के तरीके और साधनों को बताया।
सेमिनार प्रतिनिधियों का स्वागत करते हुए, प्रोफेसर अब्दुर रहीम किदवई, मानद निदेशक, के. ए. निज़ामी सेंटर फॉर कुरानिक स्टडीज ने कहा कि कुरान के अनन्त, जीवनदायी मार्गदर्शन के साथ युवाओं को परिचित करने के लिए हॉस्टल और स्थानीय लोगों में कुरान अध्ययन सर्किल स्थापित किए जाने चाहिए।
केंद्र के सहायक प्रोफेसर डॉ. मोहम्मद अय्यूब अकरम ने कार्यवाही की, जबकि केंद्र के सहायक प्रोफेसर डॉ. मोहम्मद मुबीन सलीम ने धन्यवाद वोट का प्रस्ताव दिया।
प्रोफेसर ओबैद्दुल्लाह फहद, प्रोफेसर तौकीर आलम फलाही, मौलाना अनिसूर रहमान, मौलाना सिराजुल हुदा, डॉ. बसीरत फातिमा, प्रोफेसर ज़ियाउद्दीन मलिक, डॉ. अरशद इकबाल, डॉ. नदीम अशरफ, मौलाना जरजीस कामीमी, डॉ. रैहान अख्तर, डॉ. नजीर अहमद अब्. मजीद, डॉ. लुबना मलिक, और डॉ. हामिद मियां समेत प्रसिद्ध विद्वान ने संगोष्ठी के दौरान बात की।
