.तुर्की के राष्ट्रपति के हमास को लिबरेशन ग्रुप बताए जाने के तुरंत बाद इसराइली ने इस पर एतराज़ जताते हुए सख़्त प्रतिक्रिया ज़ाहिर की है.
तुर्की के राष्ट्रपति रैचप तैय्यप अर्दोआन ने हमास को ‘लिबरेशन ग्रुप’ यानी आज़ादी के लिए लड़ने वाला समूह बताया था, जो अपनी ज़मीन की सुरक्षा के लिए लड़ाई लड़ रहा है.
तुर्की की संसद में अपने तीखे भाषण में अर्दोआन ने कहा कि वो इसराइल के अपने दौरे को रद्द कर रहे हैं.
अर्दोआन ने कहा कि उन्होंने इसराइली प्रधानमंत्री बिन्यामिन नेतन्याहू से हाथ मिलाया था लेकिन उसी नेतन्याहू ने ‘तुर्की के भले की मंशा को अपमानित किया.’
अर्दोआन के इस बयान का इसराइली विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता से काफ़ी तल्ख़ जवाब दिया है.

The Israeli Prime Minister plans to postpone the offensive operation in the Gaza Strip because he believes that the IDF is not ready, writes Axios.
“Netanyahu, despite political pressure to act against Hamas, has always played it safe. He is somewhat skeptical of Israel’s military plans – and he needs time,” the newspaper notes.
In addition, US President Joe Biden is also insisting on more thorough preparations for the operation, to the general displeasure of Israeli generals who are just waiting for the government’s order.
